RULES FOR POSTING

To start an RP, just follow these simple rules!
ALWAYS CHECK THE 'ADD MY SIGNATURE' BOX WHEN POSTING. YOUR SIGNATURE IS WHAT WILL CONTAIN YOUR PLAYER INFO - IT WILL BE UPDATED BY THE ADMIN! (Don't edit it or get debuffed!)
1. Setting the Scene: To begin with, write a small passage detailing, in some way, your character, about to start something. you can be as revealing or cryptic as you like, but make sure you leave space open for at least one other player to RP with you. Example:
"Taruvian stood atop the balcony of his towering Keep, motionless, contemplating the sunset sinking slowly below the horizon. Awaiting the arrival of his comrade Kinarin, he considered the trials ahead; another Shinigami had forced his way into the Realm and was laying waste to border villages with reckless abandon. Reports indicated the Shinigami was a berserker, careless and powerful, too strong for a human to deal with. Potentially a problem. 'Any minute now,' he muttered to himself - he could sense a presence approaching the large door behind him..."
This post sets the scene, indicates the general aim of the RP, and provides a que for (in this case) Kinarin to join the RP with a reply.
2. Continuing the RP: Once the first post is done, wait for your first reply. Once it arrives, consider your response carefully, be imaginitive, and see where it takes you. Into the heat of combat, or a devious trap, maybe just a walk around the town holding a friendly discussion with your comrade!
3. Battle and Events: We don't depend on dice and measurements here. Use your imagination! If it's appropriate and will advance the RP, then maybe you character is injured by an opponent, forcing your RP partner to defend you as you try to fix yourself up... maybe your partner is recklessly attacking an opponent and you see an opportunity to finish it. Go for it! But please don't God yourself - Admins will delete innapropriate posts that make no sense or warp reality to make you too powerful. Consider the limitations of your character and use them to create a great RP!
4. Levels: Admins will grant you levels based on your involvement and attitude towards the RP. generally, every completed RP will result in level raising by one. We won't increase it if you didn't do anything worthy of levelling up though! Levels will be used mainly as a gauge to show how many RP's you've completed, so others can see how much experience within the Realm you have. Advanced RP's within the Realm may require a certain level, to prove that you have enough involvement to be worthy of taking part. Don't feel bad if you can't join one! Just make your own and gain some recognition among other players as a respectable and imaginitive RP'er first
5. Have fun! Don't troll or be an idiot, be creative and let yourself loose! become your character and enjoy it! That's what RP is all about, after all!
